Alsco
Enterprises Limited was established in 1976 to provide premium
ideas and products for consumer promotions.
The sourcing of such products had hitherto been an uncoordinated
effort undertaken by clients’ Marketing or Promotion Departments
or their advertising agencies. Supply usually comes from importers,
traders of promotional products or premium suppliers.
Since China gradually becomes the world’s manufacturing
backyard, there is a need for a specialist from China to supply.
Alsco fulfills this.
Alsco
Enterprises set itself up to be more than a sourcing intermediary
for promotional items. While
the reliability of delivery and the quality control was a key
benefit, we also worked closely with client’s Marketing Departments
to define strategies, generate ideas, and advise on how best to
orchestrate collateral above-the-line promotions to create consumer
interest. For the
global market, Alsco works with Promotional Companies and special
Product Importers in different countries as Strategic Partners,
performing the role of product development, manufacturing, quality
control and delivery fulfillment.
Producer
expansion was necessarily rapid, to meet our growing local and
international clients,apart from all sorts advertising premiums
of various budget levels, Alsco Enterprises diversified into supply
of business gifts.
Bi-annually,
we publish the “Image Gifts For Corporation” catalogue featuring
over 300 new and innovative items.
Thousands of copies of this catalogue are distributed directly
to leading companies in Hong Kong and worldwide.
To
cater the low cost premium trade, we used to publish a bi-annual
Premium Product Catalogue featuring over 1,000 items.
Since Internet Technology has become more cost friendly,
we publish every Tuesday a product mail named as “Idea Express”.
This electronic message is sent on a regular basis to all
the 1,200 trade partners from every part of the world via multi
e-mail format.
Today,
Alsco is operating under two major marketing divisions: consumer
promotion premiums and business gifts programs.
We are serving companies from different industries and
clients from all over the world.
Alsco
now employs over 24 professional staff in Hong Kong .
Another team of 12 people at ShenZhen, China.
Our two offices have spaces of over 6,000 square feet.
There is also a private warehouse of 5,000 square feet
to support services to our customers.

In
our consumer product promotion division, we work closely with
the Marketing departments of various local and overseas companies
and also their local suppliers who are our strategic partners
to launch successful promotional campaigns that fulfill the following

Since
ten years ago, Alsco has formed special partnership with factories
in China to produce and supply FOOD SAFE, NON-TOXIC, HYGENIC and
LOW COST INPACK PREMIUMS for clients selling snack food to children
consumers. These few
factories are exclusive to the use of Alsco’s clients or Strategic
Partners.

2. Business Gifts for Corporations:
This
division of our company continuously provides corporate gifts
and ideas to help companies build-up their image and strengthen
their business relationships with key customers and targets.
In
Asia, we have operated a number of exclusive Corporate Gifts Programs
for clients such as China Light and Power, Sheraton Hotel and
Apple Computer. We
do not supply only the products our clients need; we also work
as an extension of their marketing department to plan and execute
promotional campaigns. As
such, we are able to develop
goodwill programs for our clients on larger scale and long-term
basis.
In
Europe, the changeover to the new currency (the Euro) meant that
we had developed 30 to 40 unique designs of Euro converters with
and without calculators under the brand name of Euroka.
This project had a market life span of five years supplying
to all member countries of the Euro Zone.
With the possible late joining of other Eastern European
countries, the market would probably extend beyond 2010.
In
the U.S. and other world markets we supply gifts to Airlines,
Financial Institutions, Publishing Groups, Utility Companies and
many other industries through our agents or importers involved
in the same trade.
